Read more here . ---- This is a screen shot of the Malaysian Paralympic Council website minutes ago. There is no mention about national archer Hasihin Sanawi's silver medal effort in the men's individual recurve W1/W2 event at the London Paralympics yesterday. Ironically, an old article of mine Robbing 'em blind , published in The Malay Mail on June 16 last year, is still the 'latest highlight'. It must be noted that steps have been taken to search for any other possible websites reflecting the views of MPC but have found none. Thus it is safe to say the website above remains as the official website. If the Council itself does not highlight the feats of its own athletes, what more the major dailies today. Remember this man - Hasihin Sanawi ( pic ). The archer now join the ranks of Lee Chong Wei, Yap Kim Hock and Cheah Soon Kit. Perhaps some may say it is an exaggeration to place a paralympian among the likes of our able-bodied Olympic silver medal shuttlers. But why not - for our paralympic team has shown their true capabilities despite the lack of publicity. And now it is only fair for our successful paralympian friends to be rewarded accordingly - and I still say a pension scheme is the best way to thank our ' Green Arrow ' in the wheelchair.
