Foul!

This was what I had tweeted about yesterday evening. The FA of Malaysia (FAM) Disciplinary Board met today and an announcement was made; Johor FA president Tunku Ismail Ibrahim has been suspended 6 months from any football activities and fined a total of RM18,000 (for two charges) under Article 88  of the FAM Statute after criticising referees in the M-League. Darul Takzim FC, meanwhile, has been slapped with a RM10,000 for the flare incident at the stadium and another RM20,000 fine for the lack of safety at the stadium. A stern warning has also been issued to the club and the president. As this is the minumum suspension and fine, no appeal can be made by Tunku Ismail and the club. HD says: Hmm....

Dengar khabar dari rakan di Johor bahawa sekretariat Persatuan Bola Sepak Malaysia (FAM) turun ke Johor Baru semalam untuk menghadap presiden Persatuan Bola Sepak Negeri Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim untuk memberitahu Tengku Mahkota Johor bahawa dia akan dikenakan denda dan digantung enam bulan gara-gara komennya tentang Liga Malaysia baru-baru ini. Ianya berkemungkinan berkenaan mutu pengadilan seperti dilaporkan di portal ini . Penulis diberitahu bahawa TMJ tidak dikenakan tindakan mengikut Artikel 88 tetapi berdasarkan pada Artikel lain dalam Statut FAM. Akan tetapi pihak Jawatankuasa Tatatertib hanya akan bermesyuarat hari ini (jam 4 petang) di Wisma FAM. Persoalan ini mungkin terjawab pada sesi Media yang akan diadakan sejurus selepas mesyuarat tersebut petang nanti. HD kata: Kita tunggu dan lihat.
