UPDATE May 22 : MHC president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah says; "I will sort this out", as published in Mailsport. ------- There seems to be an "issue" between national coach Paul Revington and 1Mas development coach Lim Chiow Chuan. Revington had apparently sent Chiow Chuan an email which saw the latter reply in what has been interpreted as a "threatening email". Revington then sends a lawyer letter demanding for an apology and retraction and Chiow Chuan adheres. The Malaysian Hockey Condeferation is well aware of the episode and considers the matter as "settled". Really? Word has it that not many people want to get involved in the episode. What is certain is that Malaysian hockey is bigger than individuals. Read more in today's Mailsport . HD says: Everyone should just focus on their tasks.

The results of Malaysian matches were updated regularly in the MHC website. Give some credit lah bro, don't always whack only... Also your suggestion for media officer for tournaments is asking too much lah bro, why spend unnecessarily just like MHC have learnt a valuable lesson not to pay RMXk to a blogger to be the media officer for a local tournament lasting 6 weeks. OLD La Sallians Association of Klang (Olak-PKT) had to bring out their best to edge 1MAS Perak 2-1 in Division Two B of the Junior Hockey League at the Azlan Shah Stadium in Ipoh yesterday. However, Olak who have 15 points from five straight wins, were unhappy with certain aspects of the match and have sent in a written protest with a RM500 deposit. "Although we won the match, I am unhappy with how the umpires handled the match, and have submitted a written protest to highlight the shortcomings which almost cost us dearly," said Olak team manager Joseph de Silva. Commonwealth Games gold medalist Elaine Koon has quit gymnastics. On a brighter note, it was fun talking to former international Lim Chiow Chuan as we spoke about claims that he is paid more than the Malaysian Hockey Federation general manager and that the 1Mas programme is a misappropriation of the tax payers money. Chiow Chuan and the 1Mas programme is featured in today's From the Sidelines . Oh yes, and the front page of today's The Malay Mail reports that Mesuma Sports has no qualms taking on the National Sports Council, even if it means dragging them to court.
