Hodak files report after heavy loss
Kelantan coach Bojan Hodak (pic) has furnished Kelantan FA (Kafa) with a report after the east coast team were thrashed 6-1 by Maldives outfit Maziya Sports Club in an AFC Cup match recently.
The Croatian had in the report state fatigue as the major factor to the heavy defeat. He also pointed out the team were down with 10-men after Zamri Ramli was give the marching orders.
The 'embarrassing' scoreline irked several parties including Kafa president Annuar Musa who demanded for a probe.
"It was a combination of several factors. The weather also played a role as we played in the hot afternoon sun. It was our ninth match in 27 days so the players were naturally tired," said Hodak as reported in Mailsport.
Kelantan, however, bounced back by defeating T-Team 3-1 in a Super League match before wrapping up their first round campaign in the AFC Cup by beating Myanmar's Ayeyawady United 3-1 yesterday en route to topping Group G.
While the Super League title is out of Kelantan's reach, the Red Warriors have qualified for the FA Cup semi finals and booked a berth in the second round of the AFC Cup.
