Dare to change FAM? 'Umno must speak up in Kelantan'

It was an interesting conversation with Kelantan FA president Annuar Musa, who is also the Ketereh MP.

Annuar Musa spoke about the privatisation of the M-League - where a workshop will be held by the FA of Malaysia tomorrow (Oct 10) at UiTM in Shah Alam.

My question, we spoke about privatising the league in 2005 through the establishment of MSL Sdn Bhd. Why are we speaking about it all over again?

Also, Annuar Musa was irked when several Facebook commentators had paid credit to the Pas spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat after fans were seen praying at the stands and sidelines of the stadium in Kota Baru.

He says the stadium is small, forcing fans to pray at those locations - but more importantly, this is one of the very many reasons how Umno has allowed Pas to take advantage of the situation.

Umno needs to act like an opposition in Kelantan, he says. And where is the 40,000 capacity stadium Nik Aziz promised in 2011, he asked?

What are we talking about here...?? Are we supposed to improve the play or the running of MSL??
The core issues are always neglected whenever FAM supposedly moving forward. When things are done correctly and truthfully, we don't have to be troubled about how we can run the league and the competition - blessing and support will come automatically.

Currently FAM, are clueless on how and what to prioritize matters concerning the sport. They always seemed to think that, whatever they do will bring about the desired results - most of the time plunging into controversies.
In FAM, we have people who are not knowledgeable enough to determine or to chart the future of the sport. They are mostly made up of politicians and some individuals who are formally gov servants.
Can we really expect to improve with these kind of people around?? - FAM before are different compared to FAM now( 70's and early 80's)

Those days people in FAM work for pride and dignity, but FAM today only work for money and positions.
The time will never come to improve, whatever we plan to improve with these current individuals at the helm.
