'Turbaned Torpedo' does it again.

The Hong Kong Marathon served a high and low to runners worldwide.

UK citizen Fauja Singh (pic), who at the age of 100, completed the 10km race in nearly one hour and 34 minutes.

Nicknamed Turbaned Torpedo, Fauja raised 200,000 Hong Kong dollars (RM 77,636) for charity through the event. Read more of Fauja here.

Then there was a 26-year-old runner who died near the finish line, as reported here.

HD says: Contrasting tales indeed.
