Lee Chong Wei nets 9th Malaysia Open title
Lee Chong Wei hardly broke a sweat when he defeated Indonesia's Sony Dwi Kuncoro 21-7, 21-8 to win his ninth Malaysia Open title and his second title of the year after netting the Korea Open last week. Mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying made accompanied Chong Wei to the final but lost 21-13, 21-18 to Danish pair Joachim Fischer Nielsen-Christinna Pedersen. Chong Wei's win was expected.
