Poser over ex-national player turned official alleged to fix badminton match

Like Chong Wei, Taufik also did not want to reveal the identity of the team official, who was a former national player.

Former World No. 1 Datuk Lee Chong Wei was also quoted by the New Straits Times as saying:

"I know who the person is, but it's been so long since this took place. I believe we should all move on.

"I don't want to name or shame anybody."

Chong Wei believes in moving on. I believe the authorities and badminton bodies - namely the BA of Malaysia and Badminton World Federation should investigate the claims.

This is to determine that the concerned individual is no longer active in fixing a match or two and not be allowed to hold any position - even at the grassroots.
