UPSR not cancelled, says Ministry

KUALA LUMPUR -- The Education Ministry dismissed news on the social media that the 2014 UPSR has been cancelled following a leak in some question papers.

Education Minister II Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, on his Twitter account, advised the people to obtain the correct information on the matter from the official website of the ministry."

The Examinations Syndicate has dismissed the news that the 2014 UPSR has been cancelled.
"For the correct/current information (on the issue of the 2014 UPSR), please surf the website of the Examinations Syndicate at," he said.
The Examinations Syndicate had announced that pupils would have to resit the 2014 UPSR Science 018, 028 and 038 papers as well as the English Language 014/1 and 014/2 papers on Sept 30 following a leak. -- Bernama
