AirAsia sponsors Singapore football team

Here's something for those who missed it.

Wondering why the Singapore national football team have AirAsia printed on their jersey?

The Malaysian low-cost carrier signed a three-year sponsorship deal worth RM4.59 million with the FA of Singapore on July 24, 2013.

Singapore football fans will also benefit from the sponsorship agreement, as AirAsia offers attractive travel packages for travelling fans supporting the team on away matches.

The deal will last till May 31, 2016.

HD says: I bet Hariss Harun is scratching his head wondering why AirAsia is sponsoring the Singaporean national team and not the Malaysian team (sic).
