Between $ and country...

Safee Sali has decided to stay on with Pelita Jaya FC in the Indonesian Super League with a more than RM2 million deal over the next two years.

But it could also mean he may not don the national jersey - if ISL and the Indonesian FA (PSSI) mess is not sorted out by end of March.

A ban by Fifa could see Safee missing out from the AFF Cup hosted by Malaysia later this year. Malaysian won the 2010 edition.


HD says: Tough call but Safee should know best.

  Ah, Pandan Indah. I love heading there for the food. You can get pretty much everything there - nasi lemak, bah kut teh, roti canai, western food, Japanese delights, Thai treats and even Mongolian cuisine. The township hogged the spotlight after High-End Snooker Club, located in Pandan Kapital Mall, graciously offered to host not one, but five world competitions , and one Asian meet. He presented medals to the champion and runners-up of the World 6 Reds Championship.
